This is something I did in my spare time. I used a strawberry print fabric which I had for awhile and modeled it on an Army utility bag. My SO would not let me take apart his surplus bag, but I managed to get some essential elements (like boxed pockets). I used craft fuse to make the bag able to stand up on its own. It has a lime green lining which coordinates with the leaves of the print very well.
I think the next one I make like this will have elastic in the top of the pockets. It is rather roomy and also the perfect shape for a lunch bag. That will give me the perfect excuse to buy some oilcloth and that lining which keeps things hot or cold (forgot name of product). Hmm...a cool lunch bag, so everyone will know it's mine.
